My client is expanding and looking to hire a Director of Business Development -- the ideal candidate will develop and grow the flow cytometry biomarker services group.  This person will present and promote services to potential clients including new accounts, new business with existing accounts, and new marketing opportunities to establish long term, mutually beneficial business partnerships. The ideal candidate will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Achieve annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts
  • Engage clients in discussions regarding their clinical pipeline programs
  • Identify areas where flow cytometry biomarker solutions can advance their therapeutic portfolio
  • Provide general intelligence on key competitors and the oncology biomarker market
  • Develop account plans and partnerships with key accounts
  • Collaborate with internal resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction
  • Use CRM to manage internal communication and document territory and client information
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
  • BS/MS/PhD and flow cytometry knowledge
  • Proven sales experience
  • Ability to differentiate from competitors
  • Strong working relationship with internal management and site leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to develop client base
